Community Donation & Sponsorship Requests

We are chartered to welcome members who work, live or attend school in the following counties: Blount, Cleburne, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cullman, Dekalb, Etowah, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall, Madison, Morgan, Shelby, St. Clair and Talladega. These are the areas we focus on primarily with our material and financial donations. The guidelines below help assure that our contributions are used in a way that best serves the majority of our membership. WinSouth Credit Union may make exceptions when considering the purpose for donations.

1. For a donation to be considered:

  • The community Donation & Sponsorship Request Application must be completed.
  • The projects or events must provide a benefit to WSCU membership and/or the communities we serve.
  • The application must be submitted during the first month of which ever quarter you are applying for. For example, if you need a sponsorship in June you would need to submit your request and application during the month of April.

2. Request from WSCU members will be given priority over requests by non members.

3. These requests will not be considered:

  • Donations for individuals, except in rare instances such as personal or family disaster. Beauty pageants, family reunions, or trips will not be considered for sponsorship.

Please allow up to 10 business days from the date of submission for your request to be processed. Any written information regarding the requested donation is to be submitted along with the application form. One request per charity/per year.
